- What time are you meeting Ann = What time are you going to meet Ann

I am travelling to Scotland on Monday = I am going to travel to Scotland on monday

c. Dùng was/were going to để nói đến Ä‘iều chúng ta định làm trong quá khứ nhÆ°ng Ä‘ã không làm

- We were going to travel by train but then we decided to go by car

- Did Tom do examination?

  No, Tom was going to do it but in the end he change his mind.

- I was just going to cross the road when someone shouted "stop"
