🎵 Luyện Nghe Bài Hát: The Christmas Shoes - Đôi giày Giáng Sinh - Lynn

 It almost Christmas time
 There I stood in line
Trying to that last gift or two
 I'm really in Christmas mood
 Standing right front of me
  a little boy waiting anxiously
 Pacing like little boys do
 And his hands he held
  pair of shoes

his clothes were worn and old
He was dirty head to toe
And when it came his time pay
 I couldn't believe I heard him say

“Sir, I wanna buy these for my momma, please
It's Christmas Eve and these shoes are her size
 Could you sir?
 Daddy says there's not time
You see, she's sick for quite a while
And I know shoes will make her smile
And I want her look beautiful
 If momma meets tonight.”

They counted pennies for what like years
And the cashier said, “Son, there's not here.”
  searched his pockets franticly
And he turned and he at me
He said, “Momma made Christmas good at house
most years she just did without.
Tell sir, what am I gonna do?
Somehow I’ve got to buy these Christmas shoes.”

 So I laid the down
I just had to help him
  I'll never forget
 The look on his
he said, “Momma's gonna look so great.”

I wanna buy these shoes for my momma, please
It's Eve and these shoes are just her size
 Could you sir?
 Daddy says there's much time
You see, been sick for quite a while
I know these shoes will make her smile
And I her to look beautiful
 If momma meets Jesus

I knew I’d caught glimpse of heaven’s love as he thanked me and ran out.
knew that God had sent that little boy to remind me
 What is all about

“Sir, I wanna these shoes for my momma, please
It's Christmas Eve and these shoes just her size
 Could you hurry,
 Daddy there's not much time
You see, she's been for quite a while
And know these shoes will make her smile
And I want her to look
 If momma meets Jesus
 I her to look beautiful
 If momma meets tonight.”
